First and foremost, The Mill Arms is a 'local country' pub that is increasingly attracting those from quite some distance away due to the standards, consistency and quality of our food and service. We serve lunch and dinner seven days per week and throughout the entire day on Saturday and Sunday.
The Mills Arms offers both traditional bar food as well as the opportunity to dine as well here, in more relaxed surroundings than you can in the nearby cities of Southampton, Winchester and Salisbury.
From lasagne to home-smoked duck to monkfish - all food is home prepared, we do NOT buy in any ready made foodstuffs (except bread & icecream); our only frozen food is the very occasional bag of peas which we may make into mushy peas, and everything is cooked to order.
To this end our menus change frequently, along with daily specials and are written on boards with normally five to seven starters, nine to twelve main courses and five to seven desserts plus approximately eight to ten traditional pub favourites. Vegetarian options are always a feature and if you have any food allergies or intolerances just let us know and we will ensure you still eat well.

As a guide, prices for starters range from £3.95 to £6.95 with main courses from £7.95 to £14.95. We also serve a very popular home cooked Sunday roast which is priced at £8.95 per person/ Children under 10 years - £5.50.
Although we do not have a dedicated children's menu (and we are not fans of 'kids' frozen/canned food products) we are more than happy to adapt any dish from the menus available, to suit a child's taste and appetite. The beauty of an A La Carte menu is that everything is made to order and 9/10 times 'yukky sauce stuff' etc can be left off the dish to suit the individual child's likes and dislikes. Many a Mum and Dad have walked away smiling with a child now happy with something other than fish fingers and/or chicken nuggets!
